DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN KENYA (JOMO KENYATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT)
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by African Adventure Specialists’ representative and be transferred to Nairobi Serena hotel for check in and remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 2: DRIVE TO SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Leave Nairobi after breakfast to Samburu, heading north, you’ll pass near Thika and continue north through some breath taking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee. After Nanyuki town, you’ll continue north, eventually reaching a dusty outpost known as Isiolo, the last major stop on the journey into the remote northern frontier district. From here it’s a fairly short hop to Samburu. Arrival at the camp in time for lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive returning to the camp as the sunsets.

DAY 3 & 4: EXPLORE SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Wake up call at 0530 hrs gets you ready for early morning breakfast. Venture out in search of the big cats of Samburu and other wild species before returning to the lodge for full breakfast at 0900 hrs. The rest of the day is at leisure and refreshing as you get ready for your evening game drive. Your evening game drive begins at 1600 hrs before returning back to the Ashnil Tented Camp at approximately 1845 hrs for dinner and overnight stay. The Samburu Reserve is one of the most visited national parks with plenty of wildlife ranging from the rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk to the Beisa Oryx (also known as the Samburu Special Five).

DAY 5: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE – ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, travel overland south crossing the equator to The Aberdare Country Club, nestled on the slopes of Mweiga Hill. After lunch and high tea, set off for the Ark tree lodge, located in the forest on mountain slopes of the Aberdare Mountains at 7,000 feet. This outstanding lodge offers high altitude game viewing, including animals that are rarely encountered elsewhere: giant forest hog, bush pig, tree hyrax, large spotted genet, and the elusive bongo. Wildlife can be observed from different levels – and from outside where you can see, hear and smell everything and inside where you can sit with a cup of tea and stay warm and cozy. You can put in a request to be awakened during the night if your favourite animals show up. A herd of Elephants might be just feet away and if you are lucky, a Leopard or large male Lion might put in an appearance.

DAY 6: ABERDARES – LAKE NAIVASHA
After breakfast proceed to Lake Naivasha, with a brief stopover at the Equator. Descend down the Aberdare ranges to Thompson falls hotel in Nyahururu with breath taking views of waterfalls. Proceed east into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, cradled within the Valley. We will arrive at the lodge with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for an afternoon boat ride. As you sail along the shores of the lake, you will see a variety of water bird species that include the African Fish Eagle, Cormorants, Pelicans, Ibises, King fishers among others. You will also an opportunity to view a hippos at a distance. You will then return to the lodge for leisure and over night.

DAY 7: LAKE NAIVASHA – MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
After breakfast check out from the lodge and proceed to Maasai Mara, (approx 5 hrs drive) where you will be booked for five nights stay on full board basis. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. “The Magical Mara” is one of Kenya’s best loved reserves. It is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Each year, Mara is the staging ground for the “Great Migration”, one of the awe-inspiring natural events of the world. After lunch depart for an afternoon game drive where you shall have the opportunity to view the “Big Five” namely the Lion, Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino and the Leopard. The Mara is also known for the abundance of lions. Return back to the camp in time for dinner.

DAY 8 – 11: MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Today shall be a game-viewing extravaganza! Maasai Mara game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem. It is a host to the highest and most varied concentration for wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. The scenic appeal of the tree studded savanna plains; the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species make it a one stop shop for game viewing activities. We shall traverse the Maasai Mara on a full day unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch Hippos and Crocodiles. Return back to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 12: MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE – NAIROBI
After early morning tea/coffee depart for a game drive returning back to the Lodge for breakfast. After breakfast check out from the lodge and proceed to Nairobi. You will have Lunch at Hilton Garden In Hotel. Afternoon at leisure enjoying the hotels facilities. Dinner amd overnight at Hilton Garden Inn Hotel.

DAY 13: NAIROBI – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park home of the legendary Maasai. Check in at Oltukai Lodge and later on enjoy an afternoon game drive. Lunch and Dinner will be at the camp. The park is considered to be one of the most popular parks in Kenya due to its views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the huge elephant herds that live in its boundaries. Wildlife that can be seen in Amboseli National Park includes blue wildebeests, plains zebras, Maasai giraffes, elephants, Cape buffalos, lions, spotted hyenas, cheetahs, impalas, gazelles, hippos, and many others.

DAY 14 & 15: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
In Africa, the early bird gets the best wildlife sightings. Rise before the sun to head out on a morning safari through Amboseli National Park with your Driver Guide in search of resident animals. As the sun rises, you’ll get to sit back and enjoy the ride whilst watching large herds of African elephants roaming through the park’s “salty dust” and high grasses. Enjoy a quick picnic lunch with the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro in the background, in order to make the most of the afternoon safari. Ride back to your camp as the sun goes down for a delicious dinner and an evening swapping stories of all the animals you spotted. All meals and overnight at your lodge.

DAY 16: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – NAIROBI
After breakfast, return to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch at Four Points by Sheraton. Freshen up as you pack your bags and Later in the afternoon transfer to the airport for your onward journey.

TERMS OF PAYMENTS
- After issuance of invoice, 40% deposit to be received after 14 days so as we can secure the booking.
- 60% of the balance to be received 30 days before first day of service.
- All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and must be paid in U.S. dollars cash, or wire transfer.
- Where credit cards (visa, mastercard) are used, we impose a 3.9% charge as bank suffices charges.
- For wire transfer we do not impose any charges but bank charges must be sufficed by you.
- All the payments should be FREE FROM BANK CHARGES.
TERMS OF CANCELLATION
Reservations that are cancelled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in numbers are subject to Cancellation fee. Any cancellation of a reservation must be in writing, and shall only be effective upon its receipt and acknowledgment.
The following cancellation fee will be subject to cancelled bookings:
- 14 days or Less prior to arrival date: 100%
- More than 14 days but less than 30 days: 50%
- More than 30 Days but less than 45 days: 20%
- More than 45 days: 0%
No refund will be given to the following:
- Itinerary Amended After Departure.
- There will be no refunds from African Adventure Specialists Ltd for any unused portions of the tour.
- Lost Travel Time or Substitution of Facilities.
- No tour refund is available should you fail to join a tour or join it after departure or leave it prior to its completion.
