Where to go, what to do while in Uganda.

LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

Albeit being the smallest of all of Uganda’s savannah national parks, Lake Mburo National Park is a gem in itself. With over 350 bird species and several wild animal species, visitors are still guaranteed a blissful experience.

Most animals such as the Zebra, Eland, Impala, Buffalo, and Deffassa Waterbuck etc. are common residents. On a good day, you would bump into a lion and Leopard. In fact, Lake Mburo National Park is the only park that boasts of the Impala, and together with Kidepo Valley National Park, it is home of the rare Burchell’s Zebra and the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe.

Lake Mburo Valley National Park is located in Nyabushozi County and together with thirteen (13) other lakes; it forms part of the 50km-long wetland system that is linked by a swamp.
