Kenya Qualifications/Requirements

• O’ Level Certificate of Education.
• Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management /Travel operations/ Tour Guiding from Kenya Utalii College.
• Demonstrable experience as a Tour Consultant, with expertise in local and international travel arrangements.
• A knack for delivering multiple outputs within tight turnaround times as needed.
• Capacity to deliver commendable services that surpass clients’ expectations.
• Computer literate with exceptional desktop research and professional writing skills
• Ticketing is an added advantage
• Extensive Knowledge of Madagascar is an added advantage
• Proficiency in Spanish or either Germany/french both written and spoken

Experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Responding to inquiries about our company’s services and offerings to overseas agents
• Determining each client’s requirements including destinations, length of stay and transit time.
• Informing Agents/clients about cancellation policies, block bookings including release period dates and all penalties.
• Research, explore and study different travel destination options
• Selecting the most appropriate transport based on the available budget, requisite departure and arrival times and preferred duration of transit.
• Preparing itineraries to the various destinations of interest.
• Suggest suitable travel options that best suite clients’ needs
• Securing accommodation that is best suited to the budget and location of choice.
• Organizing client pick-ups for safaris and airport transfers.
• Maintaining client files and proper filing and receiving
• Inform clients and provide useful travel material such as guides, maps and event programs
• Invoicing, Collect deposits and balances from agents/ direct clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients
