Day by day.

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN TANZANIA (KILIMANJARO AIRPORT)

Arusha.

Karibu Tanzania – Welcome to Tanzania. On arrival at the airport you will be met by one of our staff members. After greet and meet services he will escort you to your accommodation in Arusha (approximately 60 Km) ready for the safari tomorrow.

DAY 2 – LAKE MANYARA EXPERIENCE

Lake Manyara N Park.

After breakfast you depart for Lake Manyara National Park (approx 120 Km). Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, A beautiful park, Lake Manyara contains a diverse range of habitats and topographical features ranging from the rift wall, ground water forest, acacia woodlands and open grasslands to the shores of Lake Manyara and the lake itself. Have afternoon game viewing in the park searching for the diverse flora and fauna of the park. There are some 350 different bird species in the park. The park provides sanctuary to a variety of animals such as the gazelle, impala, buffalo, wildebeest, hyena, baboon, giraffe, hippo and the famous tree-climbing lions that are unique to the Lake. The park is generally recognized for its incredible beauty.

DAY 3 – A DAY IN THE NGORONGORO CRATER

Ngorongoro crater.

After breakfast we drive and descend some 610 meters into the crater, which is home to an abundance of wildlife and a photogenic paradise, for a full day of game viewing drive with picnic lunch at a private scenic site (hippos pool). Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world teams with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Prides of lions, herds of Cape buffalo, impala, Thompson gazelles, rhino, golden and black backed jackal, zebra, cheetah, leopard and the spotted hyena freely roam on the crater floor plains. Unmatched for its natural variety and breath taking beauty, there are few places on earth where such a tremendous diversity of landscapes exist inside a region this size. Apart from its wildlife riches, the crater is also home to hundreds of bird species, refreshing in the small lakes in the crater floor. Later in the day we will drive back to our game lodge for overnight rest.

DAY 4 – DRIVE TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Serengeti Seronera.

The legendary Serengeti Plain is your destination today (210 km), a vast rolling plain whose sparse vegetation allows for some of the best wildlife viewing in the world. The annual migration of wildebeest and zebra is one of the park’s great attractions, but throughout the year the Serengeti is excellent for seeing predators such as lion, leopard and cheetah, along with elephant, giraffe, hyena, hippo, rhino, and many varieties of antelopes and birds. Depending with animal movement we can arrange packed lunch or go back to the lodge for hot lunch. The evening is free to rest.

DAY 5 – TRACING THE BIG FIVE IN SERENGETI

Serengeti Seronera.

Today we enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing drives on the vast Serengeti plains. In the early morning and evening light, the Serengeti landscape is stunningly beautiful. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, including more than three million large mammals. The park is one that can never disappoint. One is spoilt by the variety of bird and wildlife species in this game reserve. Depending with wildlife movement at different times, we may serve picnic lunch at a picnic site or take hot lunch from our lodge or camp.

DAY 6 – 8 FOLLOW THE MIGRATION PATHS IN SERENGETI ECOSYSTEM

Northern Serengeti

Today you will follow the migrations paths depending with the location. We will spend the days following the great migration of about 1.5 millions Wildebeests and 500,000 Zebras migrating through the Serengeti Ecosystem. Dangers is everywhere and packs of lion, cheetah and other carnivores are everywhere waiting for the right moment to strike. Crocodiles in Serengeti river does no mercy as the herds cross the river. Thousands are swept by the arrogant waters and the scenes are amazing. Later in the early evening you will drive to your mobile luxury camp for overnight rest.

DAY 9 – FLY TO ARUSHA FOR YOUR FLIGHT BACK HOME

Kilimanjaro.

After enjoying breakfast and a morning game drive, you’ll be transferred to Kogatende Airstrip for your flight back to Arusha airport and drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home

TERMS OF PAYMENTS

After issuance of invoice, 40% deposit to be received after 14 days so as we can secure the booking.
60% of the balance to be received 30 days before first day of service.

All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and must be paid in U.S. dollars cash, or wire transfer.
Where credit cards (visa, mastercard) are used, we impose a 3.9% charge as bank suffices charges.
For wire transfer we do not impose any charges but bank charges must be sufficed by you.
All the payments should be FREE FROM BANK CHARGES.

TERMS OF CANCELLATION

Reservations that are cancelled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in numbers are subject to Cancellation fee. Any cancellation of a reservation must be in writing, and shall only be effective upon its receipt and acknowledgment.

The following cancellation fee will be subject to cancelled bookings:

14 days or Less prior to arrival date: 100%
More than 14 days but less than 30 days: 50%
More than 30 Days but less than 45 days: 20%
More than 45 days: 0%

No refund will be given to the following:

Itinerary Amended After Departure.
There will be no refunds from African Adventure Specialists Ltd for any unused portions of the tour.
Lost Travel Time or Substitution of Facilities.
No tour refund is available should you fail to join a tour or join it after departure or leave it prior to its completion.
